OFFICIAL RULES / REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE $50 REFERRAL REWARD:

Current Customer: To be eligible to receive a $50 gift card for a successful account referral, (1) you must be a Burke & Herbert Bank personal or business checking, savings and/or money market account customer; (2) you must refer a non-Burke & Herbert Bank personal or business checking customer to open a new personal or business checking account by February 28, 2020; (3) your friend/new account opener must meet the requirements as detailed below; and (4) we must receive a referral form with the “Current Customer” section completed by February 28, 2020, for each friend you refer.
You will be eligible to receive one $50 gift card for every successful account referral you make. There is no limit to the number of rewards you can receive.
New Personal Checking Customer: To be eligible to receive a $50 gift card, you must (1) be a new personal checking account customer (having no other personal checking accounts opened as of November 17, 2019); (2) open your new personal checking account by February 28, 2020; (3) enroll in Online Banking; and (4) either establish and receive at least one direct deposit totaling $500 or more, or (5) make at least $100 in purchases with your Burke & Herbert Bank Visa® Debit Card associated with your new account by March 27, 2020. You will receive IRS Form 1099 for the amount of any new account reward(s) or bonus(es) received. One gift card will be awarded per new qualifying account. Maximum of one qualifying personal checking account per customer.
New Business Checking Customer: To be eligible to receive a $50 gift card, you must (1) be a new business checking account customer (having no other business checking accounts open as of November 17, 2019); (2) open your new business checking account by February 28, 2020; (3) enroll in Business Online Banking by March 27, 2020. One gift card will be awarded per new qualifying account. Maximum of one qualifying business checking account per business entity.
If you are eligible to collect a gift card, you will be notified by mail or email no later than April 30, 2020, with a unique claim code and instructions for collecting your card. Any gift cards not collected will be forfeited if not claimed by June 30, 2020.
